"And just where do you think you're going mutt?"
The small black colored male felt the all too familiar feeling of being sandwiched between two rather large male wolves. The impact jarred his light frame to such an extent had one of the brutes not been beside him it would have knocked him right off his paws and onto the dusty canyon floor. Judging by the force behind their combined efforts to restrain him Zy figured he had pushed his luck a bit too far this time. All he tried to do was leave the compound for the third time this week. It's not like it was something every other indentured wolf knew not to do, and it certainly wasn't his fault none of the wardens knew how to tie a decent knot. He assumed that their shoddy craftsmanship was a challenge to see if Zy was one of the few slaves left that would even consider an escape attempt. He figured the wardens loved chasing him around for hours at a time in the blistering heat too. It's almost like they were flirting with him or something. Silly boys.
Back to the real situation here: the two immovable rocks attempting to crush the life out of him. Zy had to think smart for once, something he wasn't all too good at, but neither are rocks. If he gave his typical mocking response he would likely end up with a few more scars than he woke up with this morning, however his ego refused to just let him remain silent.
"I... was following my new master out, of course."
A shoddy lie at best. Nearly all the wardens knew that Zy had been at the auctions longer than most other slaves there. He was a male, which already decreased his attractiveness to most masters, and he wasn't very strong, meaning limited work potential. What idiot would want a smart mouthed wolf that could only run and drive who ever he was around to the edge of reason? Still, Zy could see the doubt that passed between his two captors. The doubt began to translate into distracting thoughts creating the opening the small male was looking for. As soon as he felt enough pressure ebb from his shoulders he wormed himself free and took off running.
Swerving around potential obstacles and escaping the higher-ups was something he had made an art of long before he became imprisoned. Stunned masters and their even more startled slaves were now part of Zy's game of extreme tag. It's not like Zy would ever actually leave, but the jailers didn't know that. Sure, he hated the compound but he wouldn't last all that long on his own. Even if his actions spoke otherwise, Zy was one of the few who were almost willingly ensnared by their social positions. His escape attempts were merely another method of entertaining himself and gaining that oh so needed attention.
As the chase wore on the black hued male was more and more likely to make a mistake somewhere, and the guards knew it. Suddenly after turning sharply to the right a shaft of pain shot through his right shoulder causing him to lose grip on the arid rock. Before he could right himself another wolf nearly twice his size plowed him into the ground, knocking what breath he had left in his lungs out. Before Zy could even process what was happening he was pinned on his back face to face with one very peeved wolf seconds from tearing him apart. Desperate for a last ditch chance of escape he called out to a passing dominor, hoping for some chance of another distraction. "Hey! You mind helping a poor guy like me out here?" It was a shot in the dark, but maybe, just maybe it would give him an opportunity to evade punishment for just a few more minutes.

KASIMIRA As the Irrsin Alpha entered the Auktion grounds for the second time in her life, a large black brute ran past her, his tail wagging in a playful fashion, followed by two burly guards who were much larger in comparison to the first, and obviously less agile and deft in the running category. The first male, who Kasimira could only guess to be a sklavin trying a rare escape attempt, turned swiftly on his paw pads, whipping around and practically flying on the return trip back. His pursuers had no chance. They ruggedly bumbled along after him, ears pricked with alarm as they collided into a master conversing with a skalvin that he had seemed rather interested in. The dominor subsequently let loose a large snarl, lifting his fore paw threateningly. What a mess.
Kasimira slunk forward, her paw steps quiet as she began running to catch up to the slave that had seemed to reach freedom. But alas, as she turned the corner, she found him caught between a rock and a hard place--or in this case, a hefty guard and the dusty ground.
"Hey! You mind helping a poor guy like me out here?"
It was a sly call for help and Kasimira paused mid-step, her eyes widening. Me? she seemed to say, her nose lifted in regal posture. Hmph. She would not take him merely on the basis of his "needing" her saving. However much it quietly had boosted her ego. With a demanding voice, the black she-wolf sauntered forward, her blue eyes challenging the guards as she spoke.
"Let him go. I'll take him."
It was a simple command yet the two restraining males paused for a moment, exchanging glances. A female dominor? Ha, she couldn't be serious. The she-wolf crept closer, her breath soft and alluring, batting her lashes as she spoke again. Her outward appearance was all divine and sweetness, but her words were strict, dictating.
"I'd get your mangy paws off of his fur or else I might have to show you that I'm not just a pretty face.
At this the pair stepped back, still hesitant, but more reserved as they dipped their heads and trotted off. Kasimira growled low as they casted glances behind them, their whispers quiet and inaudible as they left. The Alpha turned her azure eyes back on her newly claimed sklavin, wondering with a quirked brow what she was to do with him. He seemed rather rebellious, rather different.
"My name is Kasimira. You will address me by 'alpha' or 'miss'."
She paused, contemplating what to say next. Her blue eyes flashed with a tinge of playfulness, slowly loosing her aggressive nature with the male's presence.
"So, what's your name, brute?"

"Wrong choice in dominor Zy", he thought to himself as the she-wolf's eyes widened in a combination of confusion and irritated dismay. The male had made a snap decision and as typical of today his luck appeared to have run out. He chose the similar colored female because frankly, he thought she looked out of place here in this harsh backdrop. She had a delicate frame and sense about her that Zy had hoped would come with stammering and dramatically spouted words, giving him the much needed distraction to escape once more. However, as the dark dominor came closer and spoke he realized what a flawed assumption her outer shell had created.
"Let him go. I'll take him."
Zy would have fallen over from shock had he not already been firmly drilled into the ground. She'd take him? The guard seemed as baffled as his prisoner. This wasn't exactly the response that would make his convoluted master plan go as he thought it would, but maybe it was better. This fem had a fire, a dangerous blazing one at that, which seemed to stand out even more around such tamed flames as the guards. Her refined exterior held much more than rainbows and butterflies, something which the ashen male had yet to see in a long while.
He expected to be released from the death grip of his captor by now, but it appeared his brain was rather slow at processing what had just occurred in the last few seconds. This little lag clearly irked the dominor and she showed it through an intimidatingly alluring, but sharply pointed vocalization.
"I'd get your mangy paws off of his fur or else I might have to show you that I'm not just a pretty face."
A small grin crept onto Zy's face as the brute finally got the message. He seemed slightly shaken up by being addressed in such a harsh manner from little miss sweetness over there and walked away with a glare directed at the slave male that said 'You're dead the next time I see you.' There were no doubts that, if given the chance, he would prove that threat true. If this master didn't work out his next trip to the auctions could prove to be his last.
His staring contest with the guards was ended as the she-wolf, now his master, locked her ice colored orbs with his. Ice was the ideal word to describe them, he thought. It was a look that could kill, but at the same time so calm and unwavering. They were beautiful and conveyed a deeper danger that said to anyone in contact they were seconds from being broken. Zy knew he'd have to tread carefully, but doubted he would.
"My name is Kasimira. You will address me by 'alpha' or 'miss'."
So once again they were back to the terms of unfamiliarity. She told him her name, yet wanted him to willingly give up this information for a subordinate role. There would be a little discrepancy in this area. Zy hoped princess here wouldn't mind. He wouldn't flat out call her Kasimira, he wasn't that stupid, but creative combinations of her name and other acceptable terms shouldn't be illegal, right? Right.
With the passing seconds the male noted the change in his dominor's expression. It was less sharp and had a slightly more pleasantly playful tinge to it. Zy couldn't help but wag his tail and grin flirtatiously before his introduction she had requested.
"The name's Zy, Miss. And I have to say, you really saved my skin back there. You can be really scary for a lady with such a pretty face."
Whether he was going to get along with Kasimira or not was still up in the air, but he guessed company of anyone with half a brain and easy on the eyes was better than that hellhole of barren nothingness.

KASIMIRA "The name's Zy, Miss. And I have to say, you really saved my skin back there. You can be really scary for a lady with such a pretty face."
Kasimira almost struck a grin at the male's bold comment, but instead kept a tad bit reserved, not quite ready to display any type of affection for the male when they had just met. Besides, there were too many wolves here and she wasn't one to be anything but an Alpha to grovel at outside her pack. She was the leader, natural-born, nature-made. And no one would tell her otherwise. With a quick flick of her granite ears and a soft flutter of her eyes, Kasimira turned away from the male, her voice drifting over her shoulder as she swayed away from him.
"Unfortunately most males don't know how to handle me. It add spark to each encounter, I assure you."
Kasimira slowed for her sklavin to catch up, her eyes gazing around the Auktion Rock restlessly. The rank smell was still foreign on her nose, the sights and sounds not quite dulled in her memory as she figured it was for the guards who lived in these desecrated walls. The pair's paws thudded over the dirt and onto the main path away from the Auktion Rock, the female taking the lead as her confidence gave direction to the journey that would take them home.
"Your new pack will be Irrsin. I have another slave in our ranks; her name is Calliope and she seems a tad timid."
Kasimira shot teh male a sly smirk. She knew Calliope's soft perosnality and responses were due partly because of her brash attitude but it bothered the vix not. She was a slave for now, and she would obey for however long Kasimira held that chain.
"We'll be there by sundown. Let's go--hurry up now."
The she-wolf's black legs pumped with more energy, a quick nip on the male's shoulder moving him forward. Kasimira let loose a howl, waiting for Zy to join in. It was joyous, this freedom that she had. Maybe this new male would be able to spend it with her later...
